Healthcare Reform: Senator Kennedy is Back and Working

For the first time since July, Senator Kennedy entered the Capitol yesterday and stated that his goal for coming back is to complete his life work Healthcare Reform and Universal Healthcare.    He stated he is hopeful that Healthcare reform is a prime item on the next administrations agenda.

This is not unusual for the Senator who has been working on this issue since the early seventies.    He is hopeful that they will pass a bill early in the Obama Administration and that he will be on hand to see him sign the bill.

His return, and his failing health, will help to force this issue early in the new administrations timeline, perhaps moving it from Mid Summer to March.
